Julie brings over 20 years of experience leading marketing for international technology companies, with a track record spanning startups, scale-ups and public markets.
She began her career at KnowledgeWare in Europe, progressing from the German office into an international role based in Paris, before moving to California to lead marketing for repository technology startup R&O. She then joined UK-based SELECT Software Tools to support its US market launch, rising to VP of Global Marketing where she led international strategy, programmes and investor relations across the US, Europe, Australia and beyond — helping drive the company’s successful NASDAQ IPO in 1996.
Julie went on to found Bassett PR & Marketing, advising early-stage technology companies on branding, positioning and PR. In 2003 she co-founded DATAllegro as VP of Marketing, helping establish it as a leading data warehouse appliance vendor before its acquisition by Microsoft in 2008, where she subsequently served as a Marketing Programs Manager.
She now brings that depth of experience to Geminos, where she leads the marketing function with a focus on positioning, growth and market presence.
