Stuart Frost – Chief Executive Officer

Stuart is a founder and CEO with 30 years’ experience building successful data management and analytics startups. He founded SELECT Software Tools at age 26 and led it through rapid growth to a NASDAQ IPO in 1996, then founded DATAllegro, which was acquired by Microsoft in 2008 for $275m. He joined Microsoft to lead the data warehousing group, generating around $1bn in revenue, and later started an incubator to build industrial and healthcare AI startups. In the last eight years, Stuart has created and incubated leading AI companies including Maana, NarrativeWave, Pingthings and SWARM—and after becoming frustrated with the current state of the art in enterprise AI for decision-making at scale, he founded Geminos to close the gap between AI outputs and real-world decisions. His focus is building practical decision intelligence that enterprises can deploy and improve over time.

Julie Bassett – Chief Marketing Officer

Julie has 20 years of experience leading marketing for international technology companies. She began her career at KnowledgeWare in Europe, moving from the German office into an international role based in Paris and later held marketing leadership positions for Germany-based startup R&O (repository technology) in California. Julie then joined UK-based SELECT Software Tools to support its US market launch, rising to VP of Global Marketing where she led international strategy, programs and investor/public relations across the US, Europe, the UK, Australia and helped drive the company’s successful NASDAQ IPO in 1996. She later founded Bassett PR & Marketing, advising startups on branding, positioning and PR, and in 2003 co-founded DATAllegro as VP of Marketing, helping establish it as a leading data warehouse appliance vendor prior to its acquisition by Microsoft in 2008, where she went on to serve as a Marketing Programs Manager

Judith Hurwitz – Chief Evangelist

Judith has been a thought leader, industry analyst and consultant focused on emerging technologies for more than 30 years. She has started three businesses, served as a strategy consultant to countless global software companies and co-authored 10 retail books on emerging technologies and 7 ‘Dummies’ books on a variety of data and cloud topics. Her most recent books include Augmented Intelligence: The Business Power of Human-Machine Collaboration (CRC Press, 2020) and Cognitive Computing and Big Data Analytics (Wiley Provides strategy and direction to buyers and sellers of technologies that help provide differentiation for the future. Co-author of 10 books including Augmented Intelligence: The Business Power of Human-Machine Collaboration (CRC Press, 2020) Cognitive Computing and Big Data Analytics (John Wiley & Sons, Inc. 2015). In 2011 I wrote a business book called, Smart or Lucky? How Technology Leaders Turn Chance into Success (Jossey-Bass, 2011).

Steven Eyre – VP Enterprise Accounts

Steve has over 30 years’ experience in the technology sector across technical and commercial leadership roles. After earning a BSc (Hons) in Business Computer Systems from the University of the West of England, he joined SELECT Software Tools around the time of its NASDAQ IPO, progressing from sales engineer to principal pre-sales consultant and then account manager supporting UK customers and a global network of distributors, resellers and partners. In 1999, Steve co-founded Slipstream SDS, an outsourced demand generation agency helping major technology companies including Microsoft, Oracle, IBM, Intel, Dell and  expand further into Europe, and helped grow the business from zero to 100 employees in three years. In 2005 he founded Altido Group, a SaaS CRM company focused on accelerated delivery into the mid-market; following a merger and rebrand in 2015 as Altido Group, he became CEO/CTO and led the company’s shift toward digital transformation solutions .

Daniel Kirsch – Head of Community

Dan is Head of Community at Geminos Software, focused on helping organizations build the skills and confidence needed to adopt emerging AI capabilities. He has worked closely with enterprises implementing machine learning and AI programs and has seen how strong communities accelerate the success of technology investments. Prior to Geminos, Dan was Managing Director and Co-Founder of Techstrong Research, where he built a consulting and analyst organization covering how AI, machine learning and advanced analytics are impacting businesses, partnering with technology vendors to align solutions with enterprise requirements. Earlier, he was a Managing Director at Hurwitz & Associates, leading research across data and AI, modern software development, security, and multicloud computing. Dan holds a B.A. in Political Science from Union College and a J.D. from Boston College Law School, and is co-author of Augmented Intelligence: The Business Power of Human-Machine Collaboration (CRC Press, 2020), Cloud for Dummies (Wiley, 2020) and Hybrid Cloud for Dummies (Wiley, 2012).
